With Mari.
But since I'm not near a Topshop and I'm definately not near Mari, I'll have to do my window shopping from afar behind a computer screen....alone.
So let's go!
I love, love, love this dress. From the color to the draping, it's a great dressy, but still kind of casual dress. It reminds me a lot of something that Rami would have done in Season 4 of Project Runway. As sick of him as I got...and as much as I loved Christian, this dress is fierce. The draping thing works. Not to mention 35 pounds really isn't bad for a cute dress like this.
Oh and just to note it...the whole draping thing that is FINALLY catching on in the States was going on way back when Mari and I were studying in London. I bought this super cute top on clearance at Urban Outfitters in London that I still wear to this day. It's black, simple and draped, but super cute.
...Wellies are finally catching on over here too. That took another...oh...two years. And those shirts with the huge letters saying ironic things on them that were a hit last year? Totally a hit in London a year before. (Catching my trend here?)
More draping. I heart everything about this top. From the draping to the detail in the stitching to the chain straps. Cute, cute, cute...and only 28 pounds!
I love, love, love this wrap top. Not only is it only 20 pounds, it's one of my favorite shades of blue. This would be super cute with a skirt to wear to work or out to lunch.
I love the whole trench coat revival. And at 75 pounds, this one is a fresh take on an awesome style of coat. Simple and clean. It doesn't have some obnoxious pattern or disgusting color to off set an entire outfit.
Um. I'm pretty sure that if you could fall in love with a pair of shoes, this would be the pair that I would fall in love with. I love super cute heels. I also love red shoes. At 55 pounds, they'd be a pay day splurge...but totally worth it, rite?
They also have these in white. And they're just as cute...maybe not fall in love cute, but damn close.
So after my online massive window shopping, I've saved myself 251 pounds...which is over 500 dollars. So maybe shopping online like this is a good idea.
Unless I find myself in London editing some glossy celebrity magazine.
Or married to a pretty British boy who looks like Christian Bale...
But until then, I've got my window shopping.
Thank God.
i seriously have the red maryjanes.. haha i bought them last winter!!
